Mission - to provide a good, safe training environment and the tools and information necessary to help you make your dog a better companion and good citizen in your community.
 

Although many of our club members have put obedience and conformation titles on their dogs, it is not our intent to make 'super' trained dogs. Socialization is stressed so you can feel safe around other people and other dogs.

Dog training classes are open to everyone and includes:

1.  Beginning Obedience -- a 7-week class for all dogs purebred and/or "All-American" (mixed breed dogs) four (4) months of age or older.

2.  Drop-in Obedience -- for dogs that have completed a CSKC beginning obedience class who would like to brush up on their training skills and dogs competing in obedience at licensed shows and obedience trials.

3.  Puppy Socialization -- a 6-week class for all dogs purebred and/or "All-American" (mixed breed dogs)4 months to 12 months; same training as beginning obedience but less intensive.

4.  Drop-in Conformation -- for all dogs of any age and people who are showing dogs in licensed shows and for those who are interested in learning how to show dogs. A Table and Ramp are provided.

On the 7^th week of each beginning obedience class, students receive a certificate of completion and the opportunity to take the AKC Canine Good Citizen® (CGC™) Test. For Canine Good Citizen® details, click here  or go to akc.org and type "CGC" in the search box 

At the end of each 6-week puppy socialization class, students receive a certificate of completion and the opportunity to take the AKC Socialization Training Activity Responsibility (S.T.A.R.)
